Not Another Love Poem
just another summer breeze,
as the lovely winter leaves,
spring into action,
fall back in motion,
love persistent like the waves in the ocean,
gazed into her eyes saw a beautiful person,
walked pass by for a picture perfect moment,
gentle wind blew her hair for an instant,
she’s probably running late for a class event,
bumped into each other in an accident,
i asked her ‘how are you’
as she spoke with a cute girl’s accent
‘im ok, you?’
‘im ok too.’
which was all a lie,
the fact im hypervenilating when i first saw you,
spoke so sweetly topped with strawberries and cream,
caught into a day dream,
the sound of an opening ding,
first round, one step: buy her a ring
skip all around the chapter,
end up with a happily ever after,
snapped back to reality,
sadly, that wasn’t the case,
it couldn’t happen that easy
though excited to see her day by day,
tried to get my game right play by play,
though it was a great moment,
she was really running late,
late for a date,
a date with a perfect guy who awaits…
